Brian and Elizabeth Hebert are missionaries to the people of Canada; in Toronto. Brian was a bus kid, coming to church by himself from the age of 4. He was faithful to Sunday School and church, getting involved through the years in different church ministries. As he got busy serving God, God began working in his heart to do more, so after having graduated, Brian left the comforts of home and left for Indiana where he was enrolled at Hyles Anderson Bible College. During his time there he met his wife who was also attending college there. After taking some trips there, they were called to the work of Toronto Canada. They are being sent out of St Amant Baptist Church in Acy, La. Please contact them at [email protected]. Please hold them up in prayer that they might get the rest of their support, and that God would bless and use them in a mighty way.
We Have a New Number - (919) 399-9178
My old number that's on our prayer card had to be scrapped due to unforeseen circumstances. This is a Magic Jack (Voice Over Internet Phone) number which allows us to keep a US number so it won't cost y'all anything extra to call us.

Brian and Liz Hebert Prayer Letter: Pressing On
I can hardly fathom that it’s already March 2024. Time has really flown by! Thank you for praying. Here are some happenings since we last wrote.
In January, we hosted our annual Men’s Prayer Breakfast and Revival Meeting, which was once again an incredible blessing with a packed house full of men eager to share food, fellowship, and the preaching of the Word. Pastor Johnston went on a missions trip with his daughter not long afterward, and I had the privilege of preaching for our midweek services in his absence. I really enjoyed taking some time to preach what God has been speaking to me about in the past several months. February’s big event for us was the Regional Youth Rally, which we hosted. This was the second in a series of these that we have planned quarterly for the foreseeable future. This time, there were a lot more teenagers, which was a huge plus, and our own church also had much more teenagers than we had last time. I was asked to plan games for the activity, including a Bible Jeopardy with questions from Colossians 1 & 2. For weeks, we prepared our teenagers for the quiz, slowly going through the verses of each chapter. I was very encouraged to see them enthusiastically combing through the Scriptures to find the answers to the practice quizzes. I see great potential in using the quiz format to encourage Bible study! We had a great meeting; many teens from different churches in our region of Canada came together to fellowship and get to know our Saviour even more. Please keep praying for our youth.
At the start of 2024, I was able to start meeting for discipleship with a man named Morgan whom I met out soul winning five years ago. He and his family came to church for a while, but sadly, they stopped coming after some turmoil in their family. Over the years, he and I have stayed in contact, but it wasn’t until recently that we were able to establish consistent weekly meetings to study the Bible together. For the past several weeks in a row, we’ve met for discipleship, counseling, and fellowship, all wrapped into one. It’s an honour to walk with him and be a friend to him through a difficult time in his life. Pray that I can be a blessing and help to him.
Please pray for our upcoming Nowruz (“Persian New Year”) Party outreach. Our area is growing, and the Lord has sent many Iranian/Persian people to live around us. We are hoping to have many Iranian people come to hear about the hope of Jesus Christ. We will have a lot of Persian food and games; and, of course, we will have an opportunity for them to know Jesus as Saviour.
If you would be interested, we would love for you to plan a short missions trip to Toronto. Pastor Johnston and I would love to have your church come and be a part of reaching our area with the Gospel. Please contact me or Pastor Johnston to discuss the possibilities or to get more details. You can reach out to me, or you can email him at [email protected]. Here are the possible dates we could arrange to have you come: April 4-7 (Soul-Winning Rally at our church), April 11-14, April 18-21, May 9-12, May 13-15 (attend a Bible Conference in Niagara Falls, Ontario), May 16-20, June 6-9, June 13-16, June 20-23, July 4-7, July 8-9 (attend a Bible Conference in London, Ontario), July 10-14, July 24-28, August 1-4, August 12-18 (Vacation Bible School and Teen Event—busy all week long). Let us know if you’d be interested in any of these dates as soon as possible.
